The virtual talent showcase is open to youth ages 16 to 19.

Virtual talent showcase is open to singers, dub poets or musicians. Any lip synching is grounds for disqualification.

A Talent Showcase Participation Form must be submitted to be eligible, as well as a parental/guardian consent form for those who are under 18 years of age.

Be prepared to submit a total of three different video performance submissions, one for each of the three rounds.

Video submissions should be a maximum of 3 minutes in length and in landscape format.

Video submissions are to be sent to our instagram page @rhythmmovements OR upload your video to Dropbox and send to our email address info@rhythmmovements.ca. All acts will be screened by the event committee prior to release on our webpage.

Absolutely no insensitive or derogatory content. No profanity, business or political marketing permitted in video submissions. All content must be clean and radio worthy.

We by no means encourage any collaboration or group act submissions. All video submissions must adhere to all social distancing and COVID-19 provincial regulations.

The talent showcase will be set in a round robin format, with the finals consisting of the top 5 contestants and the Top 3 awarded with prizes.

Voting for the first round of entries will begin on March 15th, 2021 until March 21st, 2021 at 11:59pm.

Voting for the second round of entries will begin on March 23rd until March 29th at 11:59pm.

Voting for the final round of entries will begin on March 31st, 2021 until April 6th, 2021 at 11:59pm, with our finalists announced on Saturday, April 10th, 2021.

Following the final round, we will be providing an opportunity for the top three finalists to perform live on our social media platform and at Rhythm Flo Culture Fest 2021 (Disclaimer – if provincial regulations do not allow for our festival to be held in 2021 due to the pandemic, your performance will take place at a later date.)

Voting will take place on our website www.rhythmmovements.ca for each round. The public will be determining our top three finalists, so it is up to our contestants to share with others and encourage voters to vote for you!

Total votes for each round will be counted on www.rhythmmovements.ca at 11:59pm on the last day of each round and will be final as of that day, without further discussion.
